Could there be signs of wear?
Since these are second-hand items, they require further washing upon receipt of the box and there may be signs of wear despite our checks.
How do you guarantee the authenticity of the brands (Levi's/Nike etc.)?
We use a checklist of brands (period labels, rivets, stitching, internal codes, zip prints) and garment congruence (cut/era/materials). In the event of an undetected fake, we provide immediate replacement and track the supplier for recall of adjacent batches.
Am I at risk of finding too many duplicates or “dead” sizes?
We apply a pattern/color repetition limit to avoid duplicates and maintain sizing within the Gaussian range (focus on "circulating" sizes). If the repetition exceeds the limit, we replace the excess pieces with variations suitable for resale.
Are the clothes washed/sanitized? With what? And what about the odors?
Yes. Although we sterilize and wash our clothes, we always recommend an additional wash as soon as you receive the box. Standard lines: ozone/steam treatment (no overpowering perfumes). HANDPICK/FIT lines: extra wash with hypoallergenic neutral detergents. We store them in ventilated and dehumidified environments to reduce warehouse odors. Care instructions for denim, leather, and nylon are included.
How do you measure actual sizes on vintage garments?
Sizes from S to XXL, but you may also find larger or smaller sizes. We use physical measurements : pit-to-pit, shoulder-to-shoulder, back length; for denim, actual waist (cm), rise , and outseam . In the presence of "misleading" labels (different years/markets), the objective measurement prevails. We include a conversion chart in the sheet.
How do you distinguish “distressed” design from damage?
“Distressed” is intentional/consistent (denim scuffs, uniform fading, whiskers). Damage is irregular: structural tears, holes at stress points, non-removable stains. The former may fall into Grade A if salable; the latter falls outside of the A stream and, if present and undeclared, is a replacement .
Can I get a sample pack before placing a large order? What does it include?
Yes: you can purchase our 1kg box for €18.99, only one unit per customer. (Same percentages, 1–2 items per key category, identical grading). Includes QC Sheet and size/brand chart . It's the fastest way to validate the color rendition and feel of the fabric.
